The
Centre is a British microlight training school that was founded
by Gerry Breen and his late wife
Manuela in 1985. The School opened
for business on 12th March of that year.

Algarve region of Portugal was chosen in order to offer microlight
pilots and students the opportunity of flying in one of the most stable
weather regions of Europe.

Situated
in the Azores high-pressure region, it affords a perfect
climate for most outdoor activities. Very mild winters and tempered
summers due to the cooling sea breezes have made this one of the
best flying environments in the world.

instruction is to British National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL) standard

The 'all weather' runway, control tower & hangars during the
Iberian Rally

next to the historic seaside town of Lagos and only 1 km from
the wonderful Meia Praia Beach, Lagos Aerodrome
has a
550 metre ‘all weather’ asphalt runway, modern control tower; with
cafe, briefing room, toilets, modern purpose built hangars and the sun!
