Karen Breen has over 19 years of administrative experience working in mainly software and hospital environments at director level, where she developed excellent organisational and managerial skills.

In 1997 she decided on a change of direction then qualified in aromatherapy, reflexology, diet, nutrition, electro-crystal and beauty therapies. After spending holidays in the Algarve for more than 20 years the decision was made to live and work there in 1999.

 She became involved in the Algarve Airsports Centre in order to take the administrative burden off Gerry and allow him to do what he does best – flight training!

She still practices complementary and beauty therapies privately. They were married in Kissimee, Florida in December 2002.

She has now taken a backseat in the business in order to concentrate on her main project of property development and management.  She still does the course and accommodation bookings but her passion is the continuing renovation of their weekend home of an old Portuguese farm and forested estate - Quinta Rosana.  She loves bird watching, has an aviary and eight dogs!
